Amayo Wind Farm

COPERCO was hired by SUZLON for the civil construction of the second phase of Amayo Wind Farm in Rivas, Nicaragua. This second phase consists of 11 towers that will produce 23.1 MW of clean energy. This is an expansion to the first phase of 19 towers for which COPERCO built the civil works. This is the first large scale wind farm in Nicaragua and the largest of its kind in Central America. The civil works required the processing of 13,000 m3 of concrete along with 1,300 tons of steel, while creating over 7 kilometers of access roads and underground electrical and optical cables. Construction time of the first phase was eight months while the second phase will be five months.
Isla Saboga

COPERCO Isla Saboga – COPERCO was hired to build the first phase of this U$220M project which consists of developing the island of Saboga. The first phase consists of the initial infrastructure including the electricity, water, and roads, along with the first eleven high-end beach-front homes.
Milagro del Mar

COPERCO was hired to build the first phase of this U$44M project which consists of a high end beach & golf tourism complex on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua. The first phase includes a 44 condominium five-story building facing the ocean, along with two pools, a restaurant and a waterfall leading from the building towards the ocean.
ZF Las Palmeras

COPERCO was hired to design-build the fourth building at this industrial free zone that already provides 2,000 jobs to the region of Masaya and Carazo in Nicaragua. With this 10,500 m2 industrial building, another 1,000 jobs will be created. Design and construction will be 8 months.
Biwater WWTP-Managua

COPERCO was hired by BIWATER Ltd. (www.biwater.com) for the civil construction of the City of Managua's Waste Water Treatment Plant.

This plant will process 50,000 gpm prior to discharging clean water to the Lake of Managua.The plant requires us to place 2,000 tons of steel, 15,000 m3 of concrete, and use both SYMONS gang-formed flexible steel formwork as well as SYMONS gang-formed steel-ply formwork. The plant includes three buildings, six 114' DIA x 20' tall round tanks, four 75' x 30' ft tall round tanks, seventeen 80' x 30' x 20' rectangular tanks, as well as several other structures. Our construction time will be 16 months.
AARSLEFF

COPERCO was hired by Per Aarsleff to build the six waste water pumping stations that will carry this product to Managua´s Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Cafe Soluble

COPERCO was hired to build a 35,000 ft2, 8 inch thick, industrial floor slab. The slab was built using high density polyethylene fiber reinforcement as well as rectangular and square dowels. This slab was designed to resist heavily loaded forklifts with small, solid wheels.
